The building is cladded on three sides with façade glass, which drives natural daylight into the core of the building while connecting to amenities. A sculptural spiraling staircase promotes walking between floors, providing additional opportunities for chance encounters and the exchange of ideas. Energy-efficient glass interior and exterior walls will bring natural daylight into the office floors and offer views of the city and airport.

The building features a basement parking facility that can park 75 vehicles, a gym, crèche, storage on the first floor, banking halls, meeting rooms, and auditoriums on different levels. Other peculiar designs include double-volume lobbies and an exclusive penthouse office with a terrace.

This 10-storey, 2-basement multipurpose office building is located in Banana Island, arguably the most prestigious place to live and work in Lagos. The building was designed as the clients’ law practice but they also have one other equally significant tenant.

The building’s eclectic design borrows its main features from both old and new architectural languages. The double-volume entrance space flows into a structured garden, and the striking feature of the building is the triple-volume law library with balconies and stunning views of the ocean from almost all angles.

The Proposed Marriott Hotel is a 20-story mixed-use development that will be located on the coastline of Lekki, Lagos. The development will cover a land area of over 39,000 square meters and will offer a variety of amenities, including:

  • A 350-room hotel
  • 20,000 square meters of office space
  • A 2,000-person conference facility
  • 50 luxury apartment units

Two alternatives have been developed for the design of the development:

  • Alternative 1: Three separate towers, with the residential apartments in one, the hotel and conference rooms in another, and the offices in the third.
  • Alternative 2: A consolidation of the hotel, the apartments in one, the office in another, and the conferencing on the podium between the two buildings.

The development is currently on hold, but it has the potential to be a major asset to the Lekki area and to the city of Lagos as a whole.
